Miami Dolphins Bite Into Burger King Deal

The NFL’s Miami Dolphins announced an official partnership with Miami-based Burger King Worldwide Inc. in support of the brand’s new home delivery service, BK Delivers.

In honor of the recently expanded BK Delivers program in South Florida, and the holiday season, former Miami Dolphins player Zach Thomas made special appearances around South Florida bringing meals to local service organizations including the Coast Guard Air Station Miami at Opa-Locka Executive Airport and Plantation and Ft. Lauderdale’s fire departments.

These “special deliveries” kickoff a limited-time promotion where BK Delivers customers are entered into a giveaway for the chance to win a pair of 2013 Miami Dolphins season tickets each week simply by placing a qualifying delivery order online. The promotion is offered now through Jan. 4. More information is available at BKDelivers.com/Dolphins.

“We are thrilled to join the Miami Dolphins to enlist the support of their raving fans and create a winning partnership,” said Alex Macedo, senior vice president and general manager of U.S. franchise business for Burger King Worldwide. “Our goal is always to provide excellent service and great tasting food to our guests and we are excited to now offer this convenience of delivery in our brand’s hometown of Miami and greater South Florida.”

Burger King’s delivery program began in the Washington, D.C. market at the beginning of the year. It has since expanded to South Florida, Texas and New York City.
