Senior CRM Analyst – DAZN

We are seeking an experienced data-orientated CRM Manager to join a highly commercial and performance-guided Consumer Business CRM team in DACH. You will be working with a team of experts managing customer communication and campaigns along the customer lifecycle to boost customer engagement with our product & content and ensure we maximize our customers’ tenure, save them from leaving and win them back if they did leave. Apart from working with the Consumer Business CRM team for DACH, you will also be working closely with other functions related to the role in-market, e.g., CRM Subscription, Content, Creative and Customer Service as well as the Global CRM Team, Customer Analytics & Research and the Global Product team.

This role will be based in Munich.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:-

  • Responsible for forecasting DAZN Customer Retention KPIs, such as churn and returning customers
  • Evaluate weekly performance up to yearly Budget planning, create custom-made analysis, and derive key insights supporting our assumptions for a commercial success
  • Responsible for Customer Campaign analysis and Customer behaviour analysis to drive and optimize high value customer action
  • Breakdown Retention KPIs to weekly views and re-phasing or reforecasting
  • Answer complex business questions with usage of SQL and visualization software
  • Close collaboration with Finance, Trading, Commercial Partnerships, Marketing and Data Analytics Teams to create and optimize commercial plans

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • university degree in economics with an analytical focus (e.g. statistics, VWL/BWL, business informatics, business mathematics)
  • Several years of experience in a similar function as well as extensive experience in forecasting or data analytics
  • Detailed experience with Excel as well as SQL and Tableau, Looker or similar Analytic software
  • You’re a proactive person who finds it easy to understand analysis as well as to prepare hypotheses, methodology, coding & visualization, and to present these insights
  • Strong communication skills are beneficial, you also have the ability to deliver complex messages in succinct way
  • Part of your strengths is being able to think commercially & analytically as well as create and present powerful presentations
  • You’ve a strong interest in the streaming service industry as well as high enthusiasm for sport content

Tender for information on Fan Zone Infrastructure Services, UEFA EURO 2024

From 14 June to 14 July 2024 the final tournament of the UEFA European Football Championship in 2024 (“UEFA EURO 2024TM”) is due to be staged in Germany. In 10 German host cities fifty-one (51) matches will be played.

Each host city will set up and operate fan entertainment areas (“Fan Zones”), in one or multiple venues (football village, public viewing and fan villages).

EURO 2024 GmbH, a joint venture established by UEFA Events SA and DFB EURO GmbH acting as the local organising structure for the UEFA EURO 2024TM, having its registered office in Otto- Fleck-Schneise 6, 60528 Frankfurt a.M., Germany, wishes to select one or several company(ies) for the provision and operation of technical infrastructure for the Fan Zones for UEFA EURO 2024TM (the “Fan Zone Infrastructure Services”).

The selected company(ies) will be responsible for provision and operation of technical infrastructure in the Fan Zones, including but not limited to the following key elements:

  • LED screens and audio-visual equipment and services;
  • Sound and lighting equipment and services; and
  • Structures for screens, sound equipment etc.For such purposes, EURO 2024 GmbH intends to organise a tendering process (“Tender”) and the interested candidate(s) is/are invited to participate.EURO 2024 GmbH has defined three clusters for the provision of the Fan Zone Infrastructure Services:

  • Cluster 2: Sound and lighting equipment and services; and

  • Temporary Front of House positions;
  • Operation of all equipment and systems linked to this position during the matches;
  • Partial upgrade of the existing sound system in the venues; and/or
  • Full upgrade of the existing sound system in the venues.For such purposes, UEFA intends to organise a tendering process (“Tender”).2. The Selection ProcessThe process for the selection of company(ies) for the provision of the Services, as currently planned, is divided into two-phases:
    • Phase 1 – Request for Information (“RFI”): the initial, pre-Tender phase during which UEFA collects information regarding the candidate(s) based on which it evaluates eligibility of such candidate(s) to participate in Phase 2;

  • Manage, coach and develop the Core Motorsport Marketing team while fostering a strong team culture integrating all marketing channel leads (Motorsport) within the Matrix organization
  • Act as campaign project leader for all category related activities and campaigns. Ensuring all relevant parties are informed and aligned across channels in the development of all related materials.
  • Support Account Marketing/Regional teams as they brief in and execute Key Account Initiatives or other Regional needs.
  • Partner management Marketing- Provide coordination and partnership with our Licensed partners on a commercial and Sports marketing level in defining the strategy for use of PUMA ambassadors.
  • Manage and develop the BU franchise products communication strategy over multiple seasons.
  • Ensure that the Central Marketing team and local/regional markers are updated regarding the competitive landscape of their respective category.
  • KPI Tracking – Responsible for the KPI tracking of BU Marketing initiatives, in collaboration with Consumer and Commercial Central Marketing.
  • Sell In- Brief the Commercial Marketing teams in the seasonal Sell-In tool creation process; responsible for defining and developing presentation tools such as videos, presentations and visual communication tools.

YOUR TALENT:

  • 8 plus years of experience in a Marketing role, ideally 3 years in a core strategic Marketing role
  • Direct experience working in a product creation environment, demonstrated understanding of the seasonal briefing processes
  • Advertising or agency experience a plus
  • Experience working in a matrix organization strongly preferred
  • Ability to influence without direct authority, collaborate and negotiate with internal customers
  • Strong presentation and business acumen skills required;
  • Proven skills in Excel, Powerpoint, budget management
  • Experience in working with consumer facing products, in the sports industry a plus
  • Bachelor in Business or Marketing, MBA preferred.
