Manchester United Earn Five-Year Deal in Kuwait

English Premier League powerhouses Manchester United have signed a long-term sponsorship deal with Telecommunications company Viva Kuwait.

Viva Kuwait Chief Executive,Salman Al-Badran, said: “Viva is honoured to embark on this historic partnership with Manchester United, and very excited to kick-off the 2011/12 season with an entertaining agenda full of promotions, activities and surprises for Viva customers, football fans, and most importantly, Manchester United fans.”

The deal will summount to five years, but the financial details will not be disclosed.

Al-Badran said that Manchester United fans in Kuwait can expect “Viva to provide subscribers with a number of opportunities to win unique experiences during the coming season, including all-inclusive trips to great games at Old Trafford.

”We will be launching a variety of new promotions and products and services, as well as offer gifts, host entertaining games, initiate interactive competitions, and set up mall activities to provide our customers with chances to watch the Red Devils on their home turf,” Al-Badran added.

Nick Humphreys, Manchester United’s relationship manager, said, “The mobile phone industry sits on the cutting edge of technological development. Viva has some truly innovative ideas for communication with the fans of the club which will provide an exclusive collection of Manchester United-related content directly to Viva subscribers.”
