LivingSocial Announces New Dallas Cowboys Partnership

August 28, 2012

LivingSocial today announced an exclusive partnership with NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and the renowned Cowboys Stadium.

As a result, LivingSocial is providing members with unparalleled access to premium experiential and live event inventory that will help make football and entertainment fans dreams come true.

LivingSocial’s Cowboys offers will include unique, one-of-a-kind experiences such as VIP access at Cowboys training camp, a Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders tryout experience, draft day with “war room” access, be in the official team picture, and more. Members will also have opportunities to partake in Cowboys rallies, tours, and clinics, as well as premier access to live events at Cowboys Stadium, such as college football games and concerts.

“The Dallas Cowboys are revered for their longstanding innovative and forward-thinking approach to marketing,” said Alex Michael, General Manager for LivingSocial’s Live Events. “Through this first-of-its-kind partnership, LivingSocial will offer its members a way to interact with the Cowboys organization and at the stadium in exciting, never-before offered ways.”

The Cowboys relationship is the most recent addition to LivingSocial’s Live Events portfolio, which features premier experiential offers from America’s favorite sports, music, and entertainment organizations. Earlier this year LivingSocial announced a partnership with AEG, one of the world’s leading sports and entertainment presenters. LivingSocial has also established a marketing partnership with MSG Sports to promote Live Events in New York, and LivingSocial works with the Shubert Organization, which owns and operates Telecharge and 21 theatres in New York, Boston, Philadelphia and Washington, DC, to offer access to exhilarating theatrical performances.

LivingSocial is a trailblazer when it comes to curating memorable activities,” said Alec Scheiner, Senior Vice President & General Counsel. “Our fans are passionate and with LivingSocial’s unique experience background we have a prime opportunity to not only offer up once in a lifetimes packages, but also attract new fans through one-of-a-kind events.”

The LivingSocial-Cowboys partnership kicked off earlier this month with special release tickets to the sold out Cowboys Classic college football game featuring the University of Alabama and the University of Michigan at Cowboys Stadium. More than 2,300 sports fans have purchased these passes for college football’s opening day.
