Lindley Venue Catering Sign New Ten Year Deal with Swindon Town

Swindon Town Football Club have entered into a new agreement with Lindley Venue Catering in a 10 year deal that is worth £13m ($20.3m).

The League One club have had a deal with the catering wing of The Lindley Group since 2009 and the new deal will see the catering facilities and services continue to develop at the County Ground.

Lindley Venue Catering will provide all conference, banqueting, hospitality and retail services on matchdays and at events, as well as managing sales and marketing for non matchday events.

Steve Murrall, General Manager at Swindon Town FC, said:  “Over the past four years we have seen the significant benefits that Lindley Venue Catering’s experience and expertise in stadia catering has brought to our retail operation on matchdays, and we now welcome the opportunity to extend and cement our relationship.”

Jonathan Davies, The Lindley Group’s Sales & Marketing Director, added:  “Entering into this 10-year joint venture has confirmed the club’s commitment to retaining Lindley Venue Catering as its catering partner for the next decade, and we are delighted to be working with such a forward thinking team.”

The initial agreement, that was worth £1.25m ($1.95m), was due to be reviewed at the end of the next footballing season, but the successful development of their working relationship has seen the new terms agreed a year earlier.

The Lindley Group is also a partner of iSportconnect, providing their services at the iSportconnect Directors’ Club.
