Key Istanbul 2020 Venue Set for Reconstruction

The BJK ?nönü Stadium in Istanbul is to undergo major changes as part of the Istanbul 2020 Olympic Games bid.

A brand new stadium will be built 23 metres north of the current site and will be positioned to maximise the views across the Bosphorus.

The venue will be used for rugby sevens if Istanbul is successful in their bid to host the Olympics and the venue will hold 40, denture 000 spectators.

Iron Maiden performed at the venue last week, marking the final concert before the redevelopment.
