John Lewis Extends Milton Keynes Dons Charity Support

Milton Keynes Dons Sport Educational Trust has announced that John Lewis has pledged its support to the charity by becoming a founder member. 

John Lewis were one of the first organisations to become a Friend of the Trust and are one of a number of companies who have donated much needed funds to the SET. 

Paul Hunt MD from John Lewis said: “We are delighted to be a founder member of MK Dons Sports and Education Trust for 2012 and is looking forward to becoming more involved with them and the valuable work they accomplish in our community.” 

MK Dons SET is a registered charity with its projects reaching out across five counties and make contact with over 80, denture 000 people. 

It delivers projects in four main streams – Health, no rx Education, Inclusion and Football/Sport participation and this year has been chosen as the Mayor of Milton Keynes’ nominated charity. 

Daniel Cole, Business Development Executive of the SET and Academy added: “We are extremely pleased that John Lewis have decided to support the Sport and Education Trust and the astounding work they continue to do in the local community. 

“We are also looking forward to building a lasting relationship with them for the future.”
