Jersey RFC Sign New Sponsorship Deals Ahead of New Season

August 8, 2013

Championship rugby club Jersey RFC have signed a handful of new sponsorship deals as they prepare for the new season.

Investment firm ORA Capital Partners has become Jersey’s joint main sponsor, alongside Jersey.com, the tourism part of the Economic Development Department of the States of Jersey.

The deal means that ORA will benefit from their logo being on the front of the team’s jersey throughout the 2013-14 season.

Jersey’s chairman Bill Dempsey said: “The whole club is thrilled by the support of the community and is looking forward to welcoming ORA on board.

“We must also thank Economic Development and the respective teams at Locate Jersey and Jersey Tourism for their continued commitment to what is proving to be a successful partnership in increasing the profile of sport locally and of Jersey in the UK and beyond.

“Working together has proved a great success, not only for the rugby club, but for the island as a whole. We are proud to represent Jersey and can’t wait for the new season to kick off with the visit of Leicester Tigers to St. Peter on Saturday 24th August.”

Collar deal for Hangar8

In another deal, Hangar8 will see their logo appear underneath the collar on the team’s shirts.

The aircraft management firm will also have their logo on the team’s playing shorts during the Greene King IPA Championship season.

The Championship seasons kicks off on September 15.
