India Yamaha Motor Sponsors Subroto Cup

India Yamaha Motor has become a co-sponsor of the Subroto Cup football tournament, one of the oldest inter-school football competitions in the country.

India Yamaha Motor National Business Head, Roy Kurian, said the sponsorship was a good fit for the company because it also supports football at the elite level through a deal with the ASEAN cup tournaments.

Kurian said the sponsorship means the company is supporting talented children who could become sporting greats in the future.

India Yamaha Motor will be giving away a Yamaha Ray gearless scooters as prizes to the most promising and best players in the Under-17 category.

The Subroto Cup will include an inter-school girls’ competition for the first time.{jcomments on}
