IAAF and Nirmal Sign 10 Year Licensing Deal

The International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has announced that it has signed a 10 year licensing deal with Nirmal Lifestyle, one of Indiaís leading real estate companies.
Under the terms of the agreement, Nirmal Lifestyle will help to promote and develop athletics in India by creating international standard athletic facilities and academies across the country, equipped with of top class training facilities and benefitting from the expertise of IAAF certified coaching expertise.
An exclusive licensing agreement was signed by Dharmesh Jain, Chairman and MD, Nirmal Lifestyle, and Elio Locatelli, Development Director, IAAF, yesterday, July 4.
Nirmal Lifestyle will work closely with the IAAF and its national member federation ìAthletics Federation of Indiaî in designing and developing athletics and athletes in India at grass-root and performance level.
Jain said: ìIAAF is the authority for athletics and we are truly honoured to partner with them in our endeavour to uplift standards for athletics in India. This is the first time a real estate company has taken the lead in building world-class sports facilities and infrastructure for Indian communities across the country.î
