Huddersfield Town Renew Radian B and Orchard Group Deals
June 14, 2013
Huddersfield Town Football Club will continue to have the Radian B brand on the front of their away kits next season and have also renewed their partnership with the Orchard Group.
Radian B is a brand from Huddersfield-based pharmaceutical manufacturer Thornton + Ross and the brand logo will be on Town’s away kit throughout the 2013-14 season, sickness marking the fifth successive year they have been there.
They originally formed a partnership with the Terriers in March 2009 and they now have delivery vans with the club’s logo on them and have taken part in the Huddersfield Town Enterprise Academy.
Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis said: “We are absolutely delighted that Thornton + Ross have renewed their partnership with us for the 2013/14 season, generic as over the last four years they have been a fantastic supporter of the Club.
“In the Club’s history only a handful of partners have been a visible presence on our shirt for as long as they have and I’m sure I speak for every Huddersfield Town fan when I thank them for backing their local team.”
Thornton + Ross’ Director of Consumer Marketing John Chamberlin added: “We believe the relationship has been beneficial to both parties and are happy to work with a club whose ethos and community focus are so similar to own.
“We believe strongly in the principle of ‘local company, impotent local club’ and are looking forward to another entertaining season.”
The Orchard Group continues official partnership
Town have also renewed their deal with the Orchard Group, which first began in 2012, in a partnership that helped the club deal with its energy and waste at Canalside Sports Complex.
This summer they backed Town’s Pedal for Pounds 4 bike ride by sponsoring the support team and the bike jerseys that they cyclists wore.
Additionally, the company’s logo is visible at the Stadium on matchday.
Orchard Group MD Gareth Henderson said: “As well as supporting the Club we’ve also enjoyed playing an active role in fundraising events such as Pedal for Pounds and Walk for Pounds so we’re delighted to confirm the continuation of our partnership.
“As our own Energy, Environmental and Networks businesses continue to grow we look forward to another successful year ahead for Orchard and Huddersfield Town.”
Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Manager Mark Jacobs added: “We are delighted that Orchard Energy has continued its official partnership with the Club. Just like us they are very proud of their Yorkshire roots and the ethos of Orchard fits perfectly with our own, so we can’t wait continue our relationship into a second third year.
“In just a year, Orchard has shown a very high level of support to the Club through sponsorship at Canalside and of the Pedal for Pounds 4 bike ride and on behalf of Huddersfield Town I would like to thank them.”
