Homestead Sponsors Sri Lankan Cricket

Indian real estate and property development company, Homestead, has become a major sponsor of cricket in Sri Lanka.

Homestead will be the main sponsor of the country’s ICC Twenty20 World Cup squad.

Sri Lanka’s previous major cricket sponsor, Reliance Communications, became a major sponsor of the International Cricket Council and thus ended its relationship with Sri Lanka.

Homestead Chief Operating Officer, Manoj Shivastra said the company was interested in generating brand awareness in Sri Lanka because it was examining business opportunities in the country.

The deal, which was brokered by Total Sports Asia, will expire in three years.{jcomments on}
