Head, Character & Leadership Development

Job Description:

  • – Design and deliver curriculum on Character and Leadership Development
  • – Work closely with industry leaders to drive Character & Leadership Development (CLD) in the Sport Industry in Singapore
  • – Work closely with Sport Singapore’s senior leaders to drive Leadership and Team Development.
  • – Principal facilitator and designer for the development and implementation of the CLD development roadmap for leaders and coaches in Singapore
  • – Conduct on-going research and innovation in Character and Leadership Development to demonstrate evidence-based impact of CLD and build thought leadership in CLD
  • – Jointly design, monitor and evaluate the delivery of curriculum by teaching staff and Augmented Trainers/Consultants; Partner Training Institutions; Visiting Fellowships
  • – Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with leading institutions, locally and internationally, to develop industry leading curriculum and programs for the academy
  • – Personally conduct the marquee courses in CLD (e.g. Game For Life) that the Coaching and Leadership Academy will offer.

 

Job Requirements:

  • – Masters Degree from a reputable University in Sport Coaching, Sport/ Exercise Psychology, Sport and Physical Education, Education, Organisational Psychology or relevant discipline
  • – 10 – 12 years proven experience in teaching, coaching, character & leadership development
  • – Proven experience in leading, managing and developing leaders and teams
  • – Demonstrated on-going commitment in CLD by publishing papers in leading sports, coaching, psychology, education or leadership journals.
  • – Demonstrated experience in developing, evaluating programmes and curriculum
  • – Proven ability to foster collaborative efforts by building partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • – Credible leadership resume that includes leading at senior management level at recognised sports organisations OR consulting at a senior level in a recognised business consulting firm working with recognised sports or business organisations preferred.
