FINA Reveal Midea Extension Until 2017

The International Swimming Federation (FINA) has announced an extension with Chinese company Midea for the period 2014-2017.

Under this agreement, ed ed Midea continues as an Official FINA Partner for the FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) Doha 2014, FINA World Championships Kazan 2015, FINA World Swimming Championships (25m) Windsor 2016 and FINA World Championships Guadalajara 201.

Midea has the right to be the Sponsor of the FINA World Record Programme for the swimming events.

“This association between our International Federation and Midea is of great value for the entire Aquatic Family, for the development of our disciplines, not only in China but around the world,” said FINA President Dr. Julio C. Maglione.

“The FINA World Championships is broadcasted in over 200 territories and reached, for the last edition in Barcelona 2013, a total of 4.5 billion cumulative TV viewers worldwide. These impressive figures constitute a great benefit to Midea and to all our partners.”
