FDJ Becomes First Partner of Euro 2016

October 2, 2014

UEFA have announced that FDJ (Française des Jeux) has become the first partner to join the family of UEFA EURO 2016 national sponsors.

This partnership concerns the FDJ brand and its lottery activities.

Commenting on the deal, patient Guy-Laurent Epstein, arthritis marketing director of UEFA Events SA, said: “We are very pleased to welcome FDJ on board as the first UEFA EURO 2016 national sponsor.

“With its 33,000 sales points in France, FDJ is ideally placed to promote the event throughout the country, thanks to its proximity to the fans. FDJ has also been active in French sport for many years now so it is only natural that it should want to get involved in the biggest event in the country and share the excitement and emotions football has to offer.”

FDJ is heavily involved in sport in France, at both amateur and professional levels and through its sponsorship of top athletes and major sports events.
