Exclusive: New Havas Recruit Gordon Lott Looking to Improve Company’s Record Growth

Gordon Lott, ampoule the newly appointed Managing Director of Havas’ UK operations, wants to build on the record business growth of 2012.

Lott was hired by HS&E after an eight year period with Lloyds Banking Group where he worked as the  Olympic Marketing & Group Sponsorship.

He now joins Havas, who enjoyed a successful 2012. The global network achieved record business numbers and Lott hopes to enjoy increased success.

Speaking exclusively to iSportconnect, Lott said: “I would like to build on the record new business growth in 2012 and develop HS&E’s strategic, creative and operational strengths, while helping the business adapt to meet the changing demands of clients, evolving consumer attitudes and behaviors, and new ways brands and consumers are engaging with each other.”

In 2012, the global network achieved record new business heights, working with eleven London 2012 sponsors, integrating US-based experiential pioneers ignition and forming strategic alliances with Seven46, the UK-based editorial communications and bid specialists, and experiential marketing agency Benza in Brazil.

Lott will be responsible for overseeing the daily business operations, client relations, strategy and new business development for the UK agency.
