Digital Editor – AFC Bournemouth

Overview:

An opportunity has arisen within the Media and Communications department to be responsible for the club’s overall video production and strategy. The Digital Editor will work with key stakeholders across the club to best leverage one of the club’s most valuable forms of media output.

Key responsibilities

– Generate an engaging, view innovative and industry-leading video content plan aligned with overall club objectives.
– Work with key club stakeholders to deliver video and media projects covering the football club and Community Trust.
– Drive consistent growth through the club’s YouTube, price viagra Facebook, Twitter and Cherries Player HD video platforms.
– Set a high standard whilst continuously measuring, developing and further improving the club’s video output to ensure the club is one step ahead of its competitors.
– Work with key marketing and creative partners during significant club events such as kit launches, new player signings and manager appointments.
– Taking on further responsibilities within the department when called upon and assist other departments with content and public relations matters.
– Be an ambassador of the club, providing excellent customer service at all times whilst portraying a professional image.
– Perform other duties as required, which are considered relevant to the post and to the objectives of the club.
– Where required, attend first team, development squad/under-21 and under-18 games, both home and away.
– Build and maintain relationships with key football personnel across the business.

Skills and abilities


– High proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro CC and/or Final Cut Pro
– Proficiency in Adobe After Effects CC
– Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop CC
– Comfortable working within Windows and/or Mac OS
– Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
– Ability to work and operate a range of camera equipment
– Experience in on-field interview set-up
– Ability to work to given deadlines in a fast-paced environment
– Knowledge of social media and developing trends.
– Ability to work under pressure.
– Ability to work individually or as part of a team
– Able to use initiative and be proactive in developing new ideas and ways of thinking
– Educated to degree, or equivalent academic qualification, level
– Driving licence
