Brisbane Roar Extend Pauls Platinum Partnership

August 12, 2014

A-League team Brisbane Roar has renewed their platinum partnership with Pauls for a further two years.

Pauls has re-committed as the naming rights sponsor to the Pauls Roar Active Program – Australia’s biggest grassroots football program – and the popular Pauls Family Zone on match day at Suncorp Stadium, meaning the state’s youngest footballers have somewhere to both play and watch the round ball game.

The iconic Pauls logo will also continue to hold its place on the sleeve of the club’s Hyundai A-League jersey.

Brisbane Roar Managing Director Sean Dobson said the support of Pauls was integral to the club’s strong emphasis on community engagement.

“The Pauls Roar Active Program is an important part of our engagement with Queenslanders, both in Brisbane and in the regional areas of the state,” Dobson said.

“Those young footballers who go through the program also have a safe and fun environment on match day in the Pauls Family Zone and we’re seeing large numbers of families coming to Suncorp Stadium to support our club.

“Together with Pauls, Brisbane Roar is proud to continue our strong emphasis on community, grassroots and developing the next generation of Queensland footballers.”

General Manager of Marketing David Waugh said Pauls was proud to grow their partnership with Brisbane Roar.

“Last year we signed an expanded deal which provided enormous benefits to us on and off the field and we are thrilled to be re-signing with the Roar for another two seasons,” Waugh said.

“Our relationship with Brisbane Roar is one that we are proud of.

“We have been a part of Queensland for over 90 years and we hope our relationship with Brisbane Roar continues well into the future.”
