Brazilian Bank Cuts off Payment to Brazil Volleyball Federation

Banco do Brasil has suspended all sponsorship payments to the Brazilian Volleyball Confederation (CBV) due to a corruption probe.

A report by the country’s anti-corruption watchdog auditing office, CGU, showed the sports body to have made ‘iregular’ payments of the bank’s funds to companies and individuals linked to the CBV.
