Black Yak to Sponsor 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade

Outdoor brand “Black Yak” has become an official sponsor for the 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade (GUOC).

As an official sponsor of the Gwangju Universiade, clinic Black Yak will combine the concept of the Games with the Black Yak unique designs to produce jackets, erectile t-shirts, asthma hats, sneakers, and other sportswear. These uniforms will be worn by torch relay runners, volunteers, operating and security staff. 

Gwangju Universiade will provide Black Yak with the rights to use the title as the official sponsor of the Gwangju Universiade, as well as use the official Gwangju Universiade logo and advertise and promote through official channels such as TV commercials, online mobile advertisements, in store promotions, and other various marketing activities. 

Yoon Jang-hyun, Chairman of the GUOC, stated, “The Universiade has a special value as the only international sporting competition with the participation of students from all 5 continents.” He also added, “This sponsorship will provide a mutually great opportunity for both the Gwangju Universiade Organizing Committee and Black Yak, which is growing into a global outdoor brand.”

Kang Tae-sun, the CEO of Black Yak, said, “I am very happy that Black Yak has become a sponsor of the Gwangju Universiade, a global festival for the youths, and we will do our best for the successful delivery of the Games.”

The 2015 Gwangju Summer Universiade will be held from July 3rd to 14th 2015 for 12 days, with 20,000 participants from 170 countries.
