Wilson Sporting Goods has signed a long term partnership with world no. 3 Victoria (Vika) Azarenka.

Madison Square Garden Company Secure New Marketing Deal with Duracell

The Madison Square Garden Company, owners of the arena that hosts the New York Rangers, New York Knickas and New York Liberty have announced a new arena-integrated marketing partnership with Duracell Powermat the official wireless charging partner of Madison Square Garden.

The partnership will place Duracell Powermat wireless charging systems throughout the World’s Most Famous Arena, allowing Knicks and Rangers fans to always be powered up when attending games and other events at the Arena.

The industry-leading wireless charging system will be showcased throughout The Garden, including product integration into the new suites and club spaces, as well as a dedicated “Duracell Powermat Powerzone” where event attendees can charge their electronic devices during events. Duracell Powermat receivers will also be available for purchase at the retail stores within Madison Square Garden, so fans can continue to charge their wireless devices with ease outside of The Garden.

United States Golfers Association Renews Multi-Year Deal with Rolex

The United States Golf Association (USGA) have announced a multi-year extension and expansion of its long relationship with Rolex, health the world’s pre-eminent maker of timepieces and a worldwide supporter of golf.

As part of the agreement, see Rolex will become an official partner of the USGA. The company will enhance its investment in USGA digital media properties, arthritis print publications and championship timekeeping, while continuing to build on existing activities, including increased financial support for the production and distribution of the Rules of Golf.

Dunlop Extends Deal with World Squash Federation, Starts New Initiative

Dunlop will continue to be the official ball of the World Squash Federation (WSF) and have lauched a new initiative for 2012.

The intitiative named the WSF Dunlop KickStart 2012 will see 250 dozen Dunlop Max balls being delivered to nations via the regional federations.

The Dunlop Max ball is larger than a normal squash ball and more bouncy; it is a beginners’ ball that is an established introductory tool.

WSF Chief Executive Andrew Shelley commented: “Development is always at the top of our agenda, pilule and this is another way for us to support local coaches, allergist especially in ‘young’ countries, as they introduce new blood into our sport.

“We are already growing in so many countries as a result of local structures – and we are pleased to support these. Burnley FC Ink New Shirt Deal with Premier Range for 2012/13 Season

English Championship side, see Burnley Football Club, generic has signed a new shirt sponsorship deal with Premier Range, cialis starting from the 2012/13 season..

The online kitchen specialist, based in Todmorden, has agreed an undisclosed fee to become the principal club partner for the next two years, with an option for a third year.

The shirt deal will replace Fun88, whose deal comes to an end at end of the 2011/12 campaign.

Australian Captain Michael Clarke to Get New Bat Sponsor

Michael Clarke’s unbeaten triple-ton at the recent Sydney Test may have paved way for a new bat sponsor as the Australian captain is close to signing a deal with sporting goods business brand Spartan Sports

Much intrigue has surrounded the ”cleanskin” bat with which the Australian captain scored a majestic and unbeaten 329 at the SCG, after Slazenger elected not to renew its deal with Clarke when it expired at the end of 2011.

Though the new deal has not yet been inked, Spartan Sports cricket consultant Ian Davis, the former Test batsman, yesterday confirmed that he hoped to formalise an arrangement with Clarke’s management group this week.

It is believed the plan is for Clarke’s bat, and potentially other merchandise, to be emblazoned with his own MC logo, just as the great Sachin Tendulkar has his own ST brand, which adorns his Adidas-sponsored bats.

Spartan also has a licensing agreement with Cricket Australia and factories in India, where its bats are manufactured.

”We’re very keen, we’re talking with them [Clarke’s management] and hoping to get it over the line ASAP,” Davis said, whose relationship with Clarke stretches back to his days as general manager of Dunlop Slazenger, which first signed Clarke when he was 13.

The value of the latest deal has not been finalised, but bat companies competing to sign Clarke expected they would have to pay more than $1million for the privilege.

However, an industry insider predicted the successful bidder could make three times its investment from having Clarke as part of its marketing machine.

Slazenger dropped Clarke’s sponsorship for financial reasons ad it could not meet Clarke’s asking price, which naturally had grown with his appointment to the Australian captaincy.

The Republic of Ireland under 21 international will be the first goalkeeper to wear the Precision Goalkeeping gloves in the SPL.

Philadelphia 76ers Agree Sponsorship Deal with Cricket Coummunications

NBA team Philadelphia 76ers have entered into a multi-platform sponsorship agreement with Cricket Communications, impotent a leading provider of value-driven wireless services.

New Jersey Nets Acquire New Marketing Partner Alpari

USA Cycling Begin Partnership with Renewable Energy Company Exergy

In their second sponsorship deal in a week USA Cycling has secured an agreement with renewable energy company, anabolics Exergy, allergist as an official sponsor of the sport’s national governing body.

In only two years, Exergy has become one of the most active and diverse sponsors in the sport of cycling with support of men’s and women’s teams as well as many events including the 2011 USA Cycling Mountain Bike National Championships in Sun Valley, ID.

Exergy will activate its sponsorship through multiple USA Cycling platforms. They will have sponsor branding at all 17 national championship events with course signage and Exergy will be on the jerseys awarded to all national champions. Exergy will also be featured on the USA Cycling national team jerseys during international competition including the World Championships.

The relationship with Exergy was reached in conjunction with sports marketing and entertainment company Wasserman Media Group, which was retained by USA Cycling to assist in establishing greater sponsorship value and identifying potential partnership opportunities for the national governing body.

“Exergy has invested deeply in the sport of cycling and we are so pleased they have chosen to support USA Cycling,” said USA Cycling President and Chief Executive Officer Steve Johnson.
