Champagne Bollinger Named Champagne of Choice at Ascot

Champagne Bollinger has been named The Champagne of Choice at Ascot Racecourse, pills home of the Royal Meeting. 

The range of Bollinger Champagnes will be available at three exclusive Bollinger Bars located within the Royal Enclosure for the duration of Royal Ascot this June and at one permanent bar throughout the year. 

Bollinger will also be the only Champagne served to official guests of the Ascot Authority on racedays. 

Over the past 300 years, thumb  Ascot has established itself as a national institution; with Royal Ascot becoming the centrepiece of the British social calendar and the ultimate stage for the best racehorses in the world. 

In a statement Ascot, help said: “As well as being poured at Royal Ascot restaurants and bars, Bollinger Champagnes will be listed on private box menus and as part of the package within the Parade Ring Restaurant for the duration of Royal Ascot. Michigan National Guard to Sponsor Nascar Race at Michigan International Speedway

The Michigan National Guard has extended its partnership with Michigan International Speedway to include the sponsorship of the August 2013 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCTWS) race, prostate the Michigan National Guard 200.

“We are excited to announce the Michigan National Guard as sponsor of the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at MIS in August,” track President Roger Curtis said. “It provides a great opportunity for the Michigan National Guard to spread its message and communicate with its target audience. We look forward to continuing our long-term support of the military.”

While the Michigan National Guard has always had a presence at the races, this marks the first time the organization has sponsored a race.

As the title sponsor, it allows the Michigan National Guard the opportunity to market its brand to its target audience through television, radio and print mediums on a state and nationwide basis. It also gives the organization access to a tremendous social media network already built by MIS and NASCAR.

“Our partnership with Michigan International Speedway connects many of our troops to a sport they really enjoy while also providing us a venue to show the public what the Michigan National Guard is all about,” said Maj. Gen. Gregory Vadnais, Michigan adjutant general. “Michigan is the automotive capital of the world and it only makes sense that our Guard members are at the forefront of such a spectacular event.”

The partnership will allow the Michigan National Guard to connect with the citizens of Michigan and potential recruits through NASCAR. The two share the same values of teamwork and competing to be the best, making for a natural partnership.

The Michigan National Guard will also continue to partner with Michigan International Speedway for race activities at all of the events held at MIS in 2013.
MIS continues its long-time support of military initiatives through various ticket programs and support throughout the year.

Jade Jones Gambles with New Backer Cashino Gaming

London 2012 Olympic gold medallist, Jade Jones has secured a new backer with Cashino Gaming, the adult gaming centre company sponsoring the Taekwondo star.

At the beginning of 2013, Cashino Gaming appointed Catch Sport Ltd to find an athlete to support on the Road to Rio.  The two organisations worked together to develop a brief and then Catch Sport Ltd set about finding a number of athletes to for Cashino to choose from.  Once the decision to support Jade was made Catch Sport Ltd drafted the contracts and liaised with Jones’s management company Definitive Sports Management. 

Phil Gibbs, Marketing Manager at Cashino Gaming, said: “We are very happy to be working with Jade Jones.  Having an Olympic gold medalist on our team is very exciting and has created a real buzz around the company.  Her performance last year was inspirational and we look forward to helping her and watching her progress on the Road to Rio.”  

Speaking about how the deal was put together he added, “We chose to work with Catch Sport at an early stage.  After our initial conversations they assisted us in putting together a brief to find the right athlete to fit our business and then find that athlete.  They went on to assist us in our negotiations with Jade’s agent and provided a contract that gave us all the assurance that there would be no conflicts in the future.  I would recommend their services to anyone looking to find an athlete to sponsor or make an appearance.” 

Speaking about the support that Cashino Gaming are providing, Jones added,  ‘I am very much looking forward to working with Cashino Gaming over the next few years.  Their support will go a very long way in helping me to achieve my goal of winning in Rio 2016.’ 

The sponsorship deal will run through to after the Olympic Games in 2016 and the additional financial support will allow Jones to maximise her chances of qualifying and defending her Olympic title.

Zaxby Named Official Chicken of College Sports

Zaxby’s has announced it is “The Official Chicken of College Sports” and has collective intellectual property rights at 25 Division I colleges through a two-year deal with their football and basketball teams.

The initiative gives Zaxby’s, therapy a Southeast favorite for chicken fingers and wings, order the opportunity to gain valuable exposure among the 173 million Americans who identify themselves as college sports fans and represents the brand’s largest sports sponsorship to date.

Enterprise Target Solutions Sponsor Irish Greyhound Board

Irish Greyhound Board (IGB) have announced a new three-year sponsorship agreement with UK-based independent finance company Enterprise Target Solutions (ETS).

The brand new deal with ETS will see the overall investment in the Irish Greyhound Derby run to just under €750, online 000 ($972, order 088) for the coming three years and also makes this year’s event the richest race in the northern hemisphere with an overall prize fund of €240,000 ($311,068) which is remarkable given the current challenges facing the depressed sports sponsorship market here.

The Irish Greyhound Derby launches on 13 May 2013 at Shelbourne Park in Dublin. It is one of the toughest and highest profile greyhound racing competitions in the world, with greyhounds competing from every corner of Ireland and the UK.

IGB CEO Adrian Neilan said: “Our ability to attract a UK sponsor from the financial sector shows that our product is recognised internationally and our racing brand is a world leader and gives our industry the excellent profile it deserves. Among the winners, are two fathers & sons who both achieved the Derby dream; Owen McKenna and his father, Ger McKenna, and Brendan Mullen and his late father, Jack Mullen.

This year’s Derby starts with the first round heats over three nights on 7, 8 and 10 August, with the Grand Final on 14 September.

Rajasthan Royals Ink New Car Sponsor

Mahindra’s Two-Wheeler has signed up as an associate sponsor of the Rajasthan Royals cricket team for the 2013 edition of the Pepsi Indian Premier League (IPL). 

The brand will be n the trousers of the Cricket team. The Pantero is also being showcased at the Rajasthan Royal’s home stadium – Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur for the duration of the tournament.

Ladies European Tour Caroline Hedwall Endorses Adams Golf

Former Ladies European Tour (L?T) Player of the Year, medstore Caroline Hedwall has agreed an endorsement deal with Adams Golf.

Chip Brewer, buy President and CEO of Adams Golf, was pleased to announce Hedwall as part of his team as she is one of the successful golfers around the world. She was Rookie of the year and Player of the year in 2011 season which makes her unique and different from others.

“Caroline’s impressive resume speaks for itself and she is just getting started,” Brewer said.

Herbalife Enters Rugby Market with Ospreys Deal

RaboDirect Pro12 team, Neath-Swansea Ospreys Rugby have revealed a partnership with Herbalife UK for the global nutrition company to become the official nutrition partner to the Ospreys.

This is the first time Herbalife has entered into such a relationship with a professional rugby team which will see their brand appear on the collar of the iconic Ospreys jersey, which is the second biggest selling in UK and Ireland.

Herbalife has existing partnerships with high profile teams in other sports including Spanish footballing giants Barcelona, Reading FC and current US champions LA Galaxy, along with Sussex County Cricket Club.

Listed on the New York Stock Exchange, Herbalife sells weight-management, nutrition, and personal care products intended to support a healthy lifestyle.

Madrid 2020 Reveal 40 Sponsors Line Up for Bid

The bidding committee behind Madrid 2020 have revealed the corporate sponsors that they hope will help them win their bid for the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Speaking on behalf of the Madrid 2020 team and the people of Madrid, pills the Mayor of Madrid, Ana Botella, and the Madrid 2020 Bid President, Alejandro Blanco, expressed their gratitude to the corporate sponsors of the city’s Olympic bid.
