ACCU-GRIP to Sponsor US Rifle’s Anette Wachter

ACCU-GRIP, an adjustable pistol-grips brand, has announced its sponsorship of international long-range shooting champion and US Rifle member, Anette Wachter.

Veolia to Sponsor Adelaide United

A-League team Adelaide United FC has signed a new major partnership with sustainable water, cough waste and energy management company Veolia.

The partnership will see Veolia become the Reds’ ‘front of shirt’ sponsor for the Hyundai A-League 2013/14 Season.

In relation to the new agreement Veolia’s Group General Manager for SANT, Laurie Kozlovic said: “Through the support for Adelaide United, Veolia will play a major role in getting behind the local community whilst also growing this sport across the entire State.”

“Furthermore, as a major business within South Australia, this sponsorship further complements the ongoing financial and in-kind support Veolia has delivered to many local communities via sporting teams, community events and environmental campaigns.”

Sanderson Farms Extends Title Sponsorship of PGA Tour Event

Sanderson Farms has expanded its sponsorship commitment to the PGA TOUR through a three-year renewal with the Sanderson Farms Championship.

In addition to the extension, ed PGA TOUR and tournament officials announced today that the Sanderson Farms Championship, viagra held at Annandale Golf Club in Madison, clinic Mississippi, is moving from July to late October and the front end of the 2014-2015 official schedule, the same week as the World Golf Championships-HSBC Champions in China. Officials also said the purse is increasing by $1 million to $4 million for the 2014 event.

Plus, the players undoubtedly will enjoy playing the Champion Bermuda greens that time of the year.”

Joe Sanderson, Sanderson Farms’ Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board, spoke of the importance of the tournament’s economic and charitable impact in Mississippi, and an increased focus on elevating that presence over the next three years.

“Since it was first held in 1968, this tournament has been very important to our state and the metro Jackson area in terms of the exposure, economic impact and charitable giving it has provided,” Sanderson said. “When we agreed to sponsor the 2013 Sanderson Farms Championship, we felt it aligned with our company’s goals and mission to support our local communities and charities. In regard to the Sanderson Farms Championship’s economic importance to the state, a study commissioned by the Mississippi Development Authority and conducted by Mississippi State University determined that in 2010 the tournament had a $22 million impact.

Content Security Ink Apparel Deal with Parramatta Eels

IT security firm Content Security have announced they will become the new apparel partner of National Rugby League team Parramatta Eels for the 2014 season.

The Content Security logo will feature on the back of the Eels shorts next year, which is one of our prime uniform sponsorship spaces.

Pirtek Parramatta Eels Interim CEO Matt Phelan is excited by new addition to the team.

Jeep Extends Richmond AFL Sponsorship

Richmond has announced American automobile brand Jeep has renewed its sponsorship of the Australian Football League team.

The new agreement will take the partnership through to the end of 2017, sale and is the biggest sponsorship deal in Richmond’s history.

Jeep will continue to feature on the front of Richmond’s match-day shirts, search and will extend their presence by featuring on the front of the shirt for Richmond’s new standalone VFL side from 2014, ampoule as well as support the Club’s ‘Richmond in Business’ program.

“We’re incredibly proud as a football club to have established a great partnership with Jeep and with our renewed agreement, it will span at least seven years,” said Richmond CEO Brendon Gale.

Kontinental Hockey League Inks PepsiCo Sponsorship

The Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) have announced thay have inked a one season agreement with food and beverage giant, PepsiCo to sponsor the League.

The new partnership with the KHL enables PepsiCo to implement marketing and promotion campaigns in the soft drinks, energy drinks and snacks categories. The partnership extends to three brands in the PepsiSo portfolio: Pepsi, Adrenaline Rush and Lay’s.

On signing the contract, PepsiCo Communications Director Marina Zibareva said, “This cooperation between the KHL and PepsiCo allows us to join forces to make hockey even more popular, to make sport even more widespread, and help a healthy lifestyle become the norm for most people. Checkatrade Get Naming Rights to Crawley Town’s Stadium

Checkatrade.com has announced a five year sponsorship deal with League One club Crawley Town FC.

As part of the deal, the club will rename its 6,000 capacity ground ‘The Checkatrade.com Stadium’ and the East Stand ‘The Checkatrade.com Stand’. It will fly the firm’s logo on player training shirts, its stadium and electronic scoreboard, match day programmes and advertising boards around the pitch. 

Checkatrade.com MD Kevin Byrne, commented on the deal: “We chose Crawley Town FC because it is a strong up and coming team and Checkatrade.com actively promotes sport and physical fitness at work, so it is a great association. I am looking forward to working with the club immensely.” 

The club’s Commercial Manager Ewan Dunlop said: “This is a hugely significant partnership for the football club and we’re both delighted and extremely proud to be associated with the Checkatrade.com brand. We’re looking forward to working with Kevin and the team over the next five years and, of course, welcoming them and their guests to The Checkatrade.com Stadium.” 

The club is donating some of Checkatrade.com’s sponsorship fee to local community projects as Crawley Borough Council owns the stadium and agreed to it being renamed. 

Hogan Lovells Becomes BPA’s Official Legal Services Provider for Rio 2016

International law firm Hogan Lovells has reached a deal with the British Paralympic Association (BPA) to be their Official Legal Services provider through to the end of 2016.

The agreement formalises the long-standing relationship between the two organisations that has existed since before the 2008 Beijing Paralympic Games. Throughout this period, including during the 2012 London Paralympic Games, Hogan Lovells has given pro-bono legal advice, secondments and volunteering to the BPA in a number of areas though London-based commercial partner Richard Welfare.

As the BPA’s Official Legal Services provider, Hogan Lovells will continue to supply legal support to the organisation across all areas as the BPA prepares to send teams to compete at the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games and subsequently the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games. 

Tim Hollingsworth, CEO of the BPA, was pleased to confirm the news. He said: “The BPA has developed an incredibly positive relationship with Hogan Lovells over recent years, which has provided a significant level of support, particularly through their contributions in areas such as commercial contracts and intellectual property. I have no doubt that their skill, knowledge and expertise will continue to prove invaluable to the BPA over the coming years and as such I am delighted that we can now formally welcome them on board.”
