Rathbones to Sponsor English Lacrosse Until 2017 Women’s World Cup

English Lacrosse have announced that Rathbones, the wealth management company, has agreed a new partnership that will see them extend their support of Lacrosse until the 2017 Women’s World Cup. 

The partnership will see continued sponsorship of the annual Rathbones National School Lacrosse Championships, the flagship event on the schools lacrosse calendar. 

English Lacrosse, CEO Mark Coups said: “In Rathbones, English Lacrosse has found a partner who shares very similar values. We look forward to extending our partnership & achieving growth & excellence in lacrosse for women.” 

Sport England’s Chief Operating Officer Rona Chester said: “The new four-year deal between England Lacrosse and Rathbones is great news for the sport’s grassroots and will complement our own investment in lacrosse. This is an exciting time for lacrosse and this partnership will help us to achieve our shared goal of helping more people of all ages to get involved in the sport.”
