Golden State Warriors Extend Kaiser Permanente Health Partnership

NBA’s Golden State Warriors has revealed that Kaiser Permanente will be the team’s presenting sponsor through the 2016-17 season, extending the partnership for an additional three seasons, and remain the official health care provider of the team.

Kaiser Permanente is entering their ninth season as a partner with the Warriors. Their comprehensive partnership through the 2016-17 season will include permanent and temporary signage, integrated media assets, community outreach events, in-arena activation such as video board features, on-court contests, the debut of TV-visible branded pole pad signage and more.

“Kaiser Permanente’s early renewal and commitment through our 2016-17 season as a Gold Alliance member shows the success of our partnership over the years and the direction of Warriors basketball,” said Warriors President and Chief Operating Officer Rick Welts. “We are honored to once again partner with Oakland’s single largest company and look forward to continuing our joint efforts to impact the Bay Area community in a positive way.”

Kaiser Permanente’s “We Care For All Warriors” season-long message will be integrated into all in-arena assets as well as a new public service announcements during flu season featuring Warriors Guard Stephen Curry. Kaiser Permanente will also continue to hold the naming rights to Kaiser Permanente Arena, the home of the NBA D-League affiliate Santa Cruz Warriors.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers Reveal Florida Hospital Partnership

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Florida Hospital announced a new partnership focused on improving the health of the Bay area community and beyond. 

As part of the partnership, Florida Hospital and the Bucs will launch health initiatives designed to engage the community and transform places of work, home and play. 

“We all know the best offense is a good defense and in health, the same rules apply,” said Adventist Health System’s Florida Region President and CEO Mike Schultz. “Florida Hospital has an important role to play in creating a healthier community. We are very excited to partner together in an effort to bring new health programs into the community.” 

Florida Hospital operates 23 hospitals across the state. Its multi-year partnership with the Buccaneers includes plans for several community wide health events such as a Day of Wellness and Fitness Challenge.

Carquest Returns as Sponsor of Scott Riggs in Nascar Camping World Truck Series

Carquest will return as a sponsor for driver Scott Riggs in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) after a 12-year separation. 

Carquest, along with sister company Worldpac, will serve as primary sponsors for the Ricky Benton Racing (RBR) Enterprises No. 92 Chevrolet Silverado in Friday’s EnjoyIllinois.com 225 from Chicagoland Speedway.

Carquest and World Pac will also be on the No. 92 at Texas Motor Speedway in November.

“We had some great success with Carquest on the truck during my first stint in the series,” said Riggs. “I’m looking forward to duplicating that success at Chicago and Texas. This team has made some great strides in our overall program this year and I think we can end 2013 on a high note.”

In addition to Chicago and Texas, the team plans to run Martinsville in October, a race in which Riggs piloted the No. 92 to a fifth-place finish in 2012.

Canadian Tire Inks Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Sponsorship

Canadian Tire have signed a new partnership with Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Ltd.

The two companies announced an extensive and sweeping business partnership Monday that they say “matches up Canada’s leading sports retail brands and the country’s largest professional sports organization.”

In addition to extensive branding, the partnership includes plans for a new Sport Chek store in Maple Leaf Square and MLSE apparel stores in select Canadian Tire stores.

The partnership involves Canadian Tire, Sport Chek, Mark’s, Partsource, National Sports, Pro Hockey Life, and Atmosphere — all companies owned within the Canadian Tire family of companies.

Under MLSE, the partnership includes the Toronto Maple Leafs, Toronto Raptors, Toronto FC, Toronto Marlies, the MLSE Foundation, Air Canada Centre, BMO Field, Ricoh Coliseum, Real Sports Apparel and Real Sports Bar & Grill.

The partnership also includes exclusive consumer promotions.

Canadian Tire will get premium brand positioning at Air Canada Centre, including in-ice at Toronto Maple Leafs home games.

Federated Auto Parts Renews Title Sponsorship of Nascar Event at Richmond International Raceway

Federated Auto Parts have extended their title sponsorship of a NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Richmond International Raceway.

The partnership began last year with the inaugural Federated Auto Parts 400, viagra buy and today both parties announced an extension that will keep the Virginia-based auto parts distributor’s name on the traditional September NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race for future seasons.

ISPS to Title Sponsor World Cup of Golf

International Sports Promotion Society (ISPS) have secured title sponsorship rights for the ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf  to be played at The Royal Melbourne Golf Club from 21st – 24th November 2013.

The ISPS HANDA World Cup of Golf will showcase Victoria to approximately 800 million homes in more than 200 countries and territories as the best players in the world from more than 30 countries will come to Royal Melbourne to represent their countries.

Toyota Acquires Naming Rights to FC Dallas’ Stadium

Japanese car manufacturer Toyota has secured naming rights for FC Dallas’ stadium, which will now be know as Toyota Stadium, while the 17 professional-grade soccer fields adjacent to the stadium will be called Toyota Soccer Center.

“Whether on the field or on the road, customers of both Toyota and FC Dallas share a passion for great products and great success,” said Brent Hillyer, vice president, Gulf States Toyota. “We are proud to partner with FC Dallas to sponsor this world-class stadium and complex, and are looking forward to supporting the team.”

Spanning 145 acres in the heart of Frisco, Texas, Toyota Stadium and Toyota Soccer Center together are booked 350 days of the year, hosting more than 1.8 million visitors annually. Not only is Toyota Stadium home to Major League Soccer’s FC Dallas, the venue also hosts international soccer matches, the NCAA FCS Championship, AAC Men’s Soccer Championship and concerts.

Newcastle Eagles Reveal Rebrand after Naming Rights Deal

British Basketball League (BBL) team Newcastle Eagles, the most successful team in British Basketball history, have announced a rebrand and will now be known as the Esh Group Eagles Newcastle.

The announcement cements leading construction company Esh Group’s continuing three year relationship as headline sponsors of the North East’s most successful sports team and a longer relationship with other businesses within Esh Group. 

Paul Blake, Managing Director and Co-Founder of The Eagles, explained: “Esh Group has been principal sponsor of the Newcastle Eagles since 2010 and I am both proud and delighted to be announcing this deal today.

AC Milan Name Braun as Official Club Partner

German consumer products company Braun has entered football sponsorship with a new agreement with Serie A giants, pills AC Milan, as an Official Partner.

The deal, which was signed with the help of Infront Italy, the club’s official sponsorship advisor, will include valuable branding within the San Siro Stadium during all of Milan’s home matches as well as the club’s training centre Milanello. Braun will also be a part of club communications both on the website and through the club magazine Forza Milan!.

Coast Graphics Unveiled as Official Yachts Graphic Supplier of Clipper Race

Coast Graphics have been revealed as the Official Yachts Graphic Supplier of the Clipper 13-14 Race.

The UK based company branded each of the of the 12, medic 70ft ocean racing yachts competing in the ninth edition of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race, ampoule which set sail from London in front of Tower Bridge on Sunday 1 September.

The founder and Chairman of the Clipper Race, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston said, “Tens of thousands of spectators attended the parade by the fleet in front of Tower Bridge on Sunday to mark the start of the Clipper 13-14 Race. Each boat is uniquely designed, and Coast Graphics have shown once again that they are at the forefront of their field of expertise.”

Coast Graphics applied each of the unique 12 designs to fit the Clipper 70 hull, providing a variation of complete digitally printed and laminated hull wraps to specialist and bespoke vinyl designs.
