FLW Renew Lowrance Sponsorship Until 2015

Premier fishing tournament FLW have extended their multi-year sponsorship deal with marine electronics company Lowrance through 2015.

Lowrance’s partnership with FLW has historically been profitable for both parties and the anglers involved. Recently, Lowrance has produced innovations across the board, from HDS Gen2 Touch displays and StructureScan HD to DownScan Imaging and the Insight Genesis web-based map-making tool. FLW Tour anglers had the opportunity to put the new HDS Gen2 Touch units to work in 2013 and did so with great results throughout the season.

In 2014, FLW Tour pros will once again showcase the fishing features of Lowrance electronics, especially in the Pickwick Lake and Kentucky Lake events, where locating deep fish will play vital roles in the tournaments.

 

Scotiabank Becomes Official Bank of Edmonton Oilers

Scotiabank have announced a new partnership with NHL franchise Edmonton Oilers becoming the Official Bank of the team.

The partnership will focus on programs aimed at supporting fans, communities and grassroots hockey.

Alliance Truck Parts Renew Team Penske Partnership

Alliance Truck Parts have announced they will continue their relationship with Team Penske for the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

After successfully partnering with Team Penske in the NASCAR Nationwide Series for the last several seasons, Alliance Truck Parts will transition to become a primary sponsor for the No. 2 Ford Fusion, driven by 2012 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champion Brad Keselowski.

The distinctive bright yellow Alliance Truck Parts colors will adorn the Team Penske Ford for eight races in 2014 beginning with the race at Phoenix International Raceway on March 2. An industry-leading provider of heavy duty truck parts for the commercial transportation industry, Alliance Truck Parts will also be a prominent associate sponsor on the No. 2 Ford throughout the 2014 season.

The Alliance Truck Parts livery made its debut with Team Penske at the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series season finale at Homestead-Miami Speedway. The partnership expanded in the 2011 Nationwide Series when Alliance Truck Parts was a partial season primary sponsor and over the past two seasons it has served as a full-season Nationwide Series primary sponsor for Team Penske. The 2014 season will bring the first opportunity for Alliance Truck Parts to race as a sponsor in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.

GL events Field & Lawn Limited to Supply Glasgow 2014

Organisers of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games have announced GL events Field & Lawn Limited as an Official Overlay and Temporary Structures Provider for the prestigious tournament. 

This will include responsibility for the Polyclinic enclosure in the Athletes’ Village and overlay solutions at a number of Games venues. 

The Polyclinic will operate 24 hours a day and will provide medical services from emergency dental care, to physiotherapy and sports massage services to athletes and team officials throughout the Games. 

GL events Field & Lawn Limited will also provide marquees and other structures for use at a number of Games venues, including the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, the Emirates Arena, Tollcross International Swimming Centre and for the sport of squash at Scotstoun Sports Campus. The temporary structures will be used for a variety of purposes at Games venues from medical to merchandise tents. 

GL events provides services for events across the world from congresses and conventions to cultural and sporting events. Previous events it has provided services for are G20 meetings in France and China, the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Confederations Cup 2013 in Brazil and the Six Nations Rugby Championship.

First Utility Becomes New Title Sponsor of Super League

Super League Europe (SLE) have announced today that Rugby League’s elite club competition will now be known as the First Utility Super League after the independent energy supplier signed a three-year title sponsorship deal.

The Warwick-based team will receive significant TV exposure which will help the company spread their message about lower energy prices. The sponsorship will also support the growth aspirations of the First Utility Super League and its member clubs.

General Motors to Provide Official Vehicles for Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg

The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg has secured a major sponsorship agreement with General Motors Company to have Chevrolet trucks and Cadillac cars on board as the official vehicles for the 2014 event, taking place March 28-30.

Leavine Family Racing Reveal Triangle Office Partnership

Leavine Family Racing (LFR) announced today a partnership with Triangle Office Equipment that offers a full line of office furniture and architectural products for the 2014 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series season.

The partnership will bring Triangle Office Equipment furniture and services into the Leavine Family Racing front office and throughout the team facilities, and will bring a completely new look to the Concord, N.C.-based facility.

“Our process was to sit down with each department and establish the needs of the entire team before recommending a solution,” Trey Jones, vice president of sales for Triangle Office Equipment, said. “We will continue to evaluate their needs throughout the racing season.”

VOIT to Supply Official Match Balls for NASL

The North American Soccer League (NASL) have announced a partnership with VOIT that will include the sporting goods manufacturer providing official NASL-branded match balls for matches and events.

VOIT adds the North American Soccer League to its impressive soccer portfolio having been the official ball provider to the Mexican Liga MX since 1987.  VOIT has a presence in 15 countries worldwide, buy manufacturing goods for soccer, basketball, volleyball, swimming and fitness.

Saxo Bank, unhealthy an online trading and investment specialist which is a major sponsor in Cycling, has become the Official Business Partner of Lotus F1 for the 2014 season.

The Danish bank will gain access to Lotus F1 Team’s portfolio of partners including Microsoft, Clear and Rexona from Unilever and The Coca-Cola Company. The Lotus F1 Team brand will also be harnessed through Saxo Bank’s promotions.

Land Rover to Sponsor Western Province Rugby

Western Province Rugby have announced today that Land Rover will be the official associate and exclusive vehicle partner of the union for the next three years.

In terms of the agreement, the Land Rover brand will be represented on the kit of the DHL Stormers and DHL Western Province in Vodacom Super Rugby, the Absa Currie Cup and the Vodacom Cup tournaments, respectively.

The local sponsorship complements Land Rover’s global association with the sport of rugby, and in addition to the distinctive branding, a fleet of vehicles will be supplied to Western Province athletes and management.

Kevin Flynn, Managing Director of Jaguar Land Rover South Africa and sub-Sahara Africa (JLR SA & SSA), said: “Today’s announcement marks a significant development in the partnership between Land Rover and rugby.
