GL events Field & Lawn Limited to Supply Glasgow 2014

Organisers of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games have announced GL events Field & Lawn Limited as an Official Overlay and Temporary Structures Provider for the prestigious tournament. 

This will include responsibility for the Polyclinic enclosure in the Athletes’ Village and overlay solutions at a number of Games venues. 

The Polyclinic will operate 24 hours a day and will provide medical services from emergency dental care, to physiotherapy and sports massage services to athletes and team officials throughout the Games. 

GL events Field & Lawn Limited will also provide marquees and other structures for use at a number of Games venues, including the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome, the Emirates Arena, Tollcross International Swimming Centre and for the sport of squash at Scotstoun Sports Campus. The temporary structures will be used for a variety of purposes at Games venues from medical to merchandise tents. 

GL events provides services for events across the world from congresses and conventions to cultural and sporting events. Previous events it has provided services for are G20 meetings in France and China, the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Confederations Cup 2013 in Brazil and the Six Nations Rugby Championship.
