Infiniti Red Bull Racing have announced a partnership today with SCOTT Sports, a leading manufacturer of high-end cycling, running, moto and wintersports products.

As official team supplier for Infiniti Red Bull Racing, SCOTT will supply various accessories to the pitcrew such as the super-lightweight SCOTT Picton full face helmet and SCOTT LCG goggles.

Rathbones to Title Sponsor 2017 FIL Women’s Lacrosse World Cup

Wealth management company Rathbone Brothers has expanded its partnership with English Lacrosse by becoming the title sponsor of the 2017 FIL Women’s Lacrosse World Cup.

The FIL Rathbones Women’s Lacrosse World Cup will be hosted at Surrey Sports Park the 13 – 22 July 2017. This will be the 10th Women’s World Cup and more than 26 nations are expected to compete for the world title. The nine day event will welcome over 10, stuff 000 spectators, 700 elite athletes and 2,000 festival lacrosse participants.

In February this year, Rathbones announced an extension to their partnership with English Lacrosse until 2017 and now this sponsorship of the 2017 Women’s World Cup will allow English Lacrosse to stage a truly world class event.

Tennis Star Simona Halep Inks Endorsement Deal with Adidas

Rising tennis star Simona Halep has announced a partnership with adidas Tennis 

The 22 year-old Romanian is currently the most successful Romanian female tennis athlete, having been the first and only player from the nation to reach the number 5 WTA ranking. Since winning her first WTA title (in June 2013, Nuremberg), she won an impressive five additional WTA titles in 2013. Royal Purple to Sponsor Subaru Rally Team USA

Premium synthetic lubricant manufacturer Royal Purple announced today it has joined forces with Subaru Rally Team USA in a multi-year agreement.

The team, order managed by Subaru technical partner Vermont SportsCar, ask will begin to utilize Royal Purple products in each of its factory Rally and Rallycross teams.

Subaru Rally Team USA has won the Rally America National Championship seven of the last eight years with drivers Travis Pastrana and David Higgins, and now also fields a two-car effort in the burgeoning Red Bull Global Rallycross Championship with drivers Bucky Lasek and Sverre Isachsen.

Brother UK to Supply Tour of Britain & Women’s Tour

Technology brand Brother UK has announced a partnership with both The Tour of Britain and the Friends Life Women’s Tour 2014 cycle races.

The association will see Brother UK become ‘Official Supplier’ to both the men’s Tour of Britain and women’s Friends Life Women’s Tour. The brand will supply printers and consumables at both races in addition to technical support. 

Brother’s partnership rights range from on-course branding in the finish funnel at every stage of the two events to VIP hospitality at each race.

Kaiser Permanente has signed on as an official sponsor of Major League Baseball’s (MLB) Washington Nationals.

One of the major components of this partnership is the inaugural Federal Workforce Appreciation Day at Nationals Park onTuesday, May 6. As part of Public Service Recognition week, Kaiser Permanente and the Nationals will salute the service of the nation’s federal workers by recognizing several representatives during the pregame ceremony prior to the Nationals-Dodgers game.

Manulife Financial Renews Title Sponsorship of LPGA Event

The Manulife Financial LPGA Classic will remain in Waterloo Region for at least the next two years following renewed support from the title sponsor.

The financial services company confirmed Monday it will stay on as title sponsor for the popular event in 2015 and 2016. The third edition of the tournament, with an increased purse of $1.5 million US, will be contested June 5-8 at the city-owned Grey Silo Golf Course.

“We are thrilled to bring this world-class event to Waterloo Region,” said Marianne Harrison, president and chief executive officer of Manulife Canada.

“The community’s support of the tournament has been outstanding, bringing in over 60,000 spectators each year and the support of over 1,000 dedicated volunteers. Fans have also been treated to exciting golf with two sudden-death playoffs.”

The location for the 2015 and 2016 tournaments has yet to be decided, but Grey Silo, which hosted a media gathering on Monday, and the Whistle Bear Golf Club in North Dumfries are the likeliest destinations.

Negotiations between tournament owner Sports Properties International and the two suitors are ongoing, said company president Jack Swift. “Nothing has been finalized … we’ll make a decision after this year’s tournament and we’ll hold another press conference to announce that decision,” said Swift.

“We’ve enjoyed a great run with Grey Silo and hopefully we can continue, but I have to tell you it’s our job to create the best venue we can. You’re always looking at ways of making the event better, and if that means moving it, so be it. If not, that’s OK too.”

Mobil 1 Racing oils will be featured at all World of Outlaws events including the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, order Late Model Series, arthritis | DIRTcar Summer Nationals and Super DIRTcar Series. Subaru to Title Sponsor 2014 Ironman World Championship

Subaru has been announced as the title sponsor of 2014 IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship triathlon to be held on September 7 in Mont-Tremblant, anesthetist Quebec, Canada.

Subaru is also continuing as the title sponsor for four additional IRONMAN events in Canada, including the Subaru IRONMAN North American Championship Mont-Tremblant on August 17, Subaru IRONMAN Canada on July 27 in Whistler, B.C., Subaru IRONMAN 70.3 Mont-Tremblant on June 22, and Subaru IRONMAN 70.3 Muskoka on September 7.
