De Lorenzo Upgrades Sponsorship of Sydney FC

Sydney FC have bolstered their growing Westfield W-League corporate portfolio by adding De Lorenzo as the team’s back of shirt sponsor for the next two seasons.

De Lorenzo have upgraded from the sleeve sponsor of the team last year, price to feature on the lower back of the home and away jerseys to be worn by Sydney FC’s two time Championship winning Westfield W-League squad until the end of the 2015/16 season.

One of Australia’s largest producers of haircare products, pilule De Lorenzo have become astute supporters of Sydney FC, joining the Sky Blue Club, attending non match-day business functions and sponsoring the Westfield W-League Player of the Year award, won last season by Nicola Bolger.

Chris De Lorenzo, Director of De Lorenzo, commented: “Sydney FC are the biggest club in the country and their W-League team are always up at the top end of the table,” he said.

“We are very pleased to be continuing our relationship with Sydney FC and have thoroughly enjoyed it so far.

De Lorenzo signature is another success for Sydney FC following the signing of Beechwood Homes to the front of shirt sponsorship in their first season of association with Sydney FC’s Westfield W-League squad.

McVitie’s Extends AC Milan Partnership

Biscuit brand McVitie’s has renewed their partnership with the AC Milan for the 2014/15 season.

For the past two seasons, the brand has invested in the sponsorship of AC Milan as an Official Partner.

At the end of July 2014, McVitie’s Digestive renewed its sponsorship agreement with AC Milan passing from an Official Partner to a Premium Sponsor, a sign of its great interest in AC Milan and potential in terms of brand visibility. 

As part of the deal, McVitie’s will be making a cake made with its own delicious Digestives.

Wasps Appoint Pins & Stripes as Official Tailors

Aviva Premiership team Wasps have announced a partnership today with Pins & Stripes who will become the Club’s Official Tailors.

As part of the partnership, Pins & Stripes will provide Wasps with their formal, smart casual and outdoor clothing as well producing an exclusive range for retail.

The partnership goes much further than the traditional tailoring relationship so often seen applied to club rugby. Over the term, Pins & Stripes and Wasps will build a full licensed range and embark on an ambitious project to establish the Wasps brand within the casual clothing space.

Wasps Commercial Director Luke Organ said, “Pins & Stripes have already provided a fantastic service to many of our players for whom ‘Ready to Wear’ is not an option due to their athletic form.

“We are really pleased to be able to cement a formal partnership for the whole Club and it will be great to see the licensed range come to life and delivered through retail partner channels.”

Bundesliga’s FC Augsburg Extends Sponsorship Deal with Stadtwerke

Bundesliga club FC Augsburg have renewed their partnership with Stadtwerke Augsburg in a three-year partnership.

Stadtwerke will receive exposure on advertising boards in Bundesliga home games of the FCA in the SGL.

England Hockey have revealed today a partnership with Notts Sport with the leading supplier of synthetic surfacing systems becoming the Official Facilities Partner.

HTC Mobiles Sponsor Kings XI Punjab

Mobile phone manufacturer HTC Mobiles have become an official sponsor of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kings XI Punjab.

“HTC Mobiles, medic as an official sponsor, physician will occupy the right chest position on the Kings XI Punjab playing jersey, ampoule ” HTC Mobiles said in a statement.

It is held and promoted by a consortium, which includes Mohit Burman, Ness Wadia, Preity Zinta and Karan Paul.

The sponsorship comes ahead of the sixth edition of the Champions League, which is scheduled to be held between September 13 and October 4, 2014.

“Cricket is a widely followed game in India and youth has great interest in the sport. Therefore, we are hopeful and quite positive that with this association we will be able to further strengthen connect with the existing audience and expand our customer base too,” HTC India vice president and country head Faisal Siddiqui said.

Scottish Salmon to Sponsor JudoScotland

The Scottish Salmon Company has been revealed as headline sponsor for JudoScotland, illness the governing body for the sport in Scotland.

The sponsorship deal, symptoms which started in May, is another positive step for the team that delivered an amazing medal scoop at the Commonwealth Games.

Kevin Durant Extends Nike Endorsement Deal

NBA and Oklahoma City Thunder superstar Kevin Durant has extended his endorsement contract with Nike, patient it has been revealed.

The Washington D.C. native revealed on Twitter he will stay with the brand despite Under Armour providing a strong interest.

Durant said on Twitter: “Excited and humbled to sign back with the swoosh!”

Under Armour recently approached Durant with a monster proposition, but Nike had the chance to match and opted to do so. Terms of the deal have not been released.

Darren Rovell and Marc Stein previously reported for ESPN.com that Nike countered an offer from Under Armour in the $265-285 million range.

Queensland Rugby Renews St.George Bank Deal

Queensland Rugby (QRU) have extended their partnership with St.George Bank for a further three years.

St.George is about to embark on its second three year term as naming rights sponsor with the Queensland Reds, unhealthy and General Manager for St.George Retail Bank, Andy Fell, said there is such a strong alignment of values, aspirations and commitment to the community between the two organisations, that a second term of sponsorship was obvious and logical to the bank.

“The QRU not only has the largest member base in the Rugby world but also has an unwavering commitment to growing the game through its grassroots programing.

“We have the greatest respect for the Reds, Queensland Rugby and Jim Carmichael’s vision, not just to grow rugby’s visibility and participation in Queensland but for their grassroots commitment to the community which allows our partnership to work in the right ways, for the good of the community.”

Mr Fell said initiatives like the St.George Rookies2Reds programs which have expanded to include 230 Rookies2Reds centres throughout Queensland in 2014, a strong community volunteering program, as well as raising funds and awareness for St.George Foundation were just a few of the projects they are most proud of.
