Big FM Signed as ICC Official Radio Broadcaster of CWC

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has partnered with 92.7 Big FM the radio arm of Reliance Broadcast Network Limited (RBNL) as the official radio partner ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

Famous Asian cricket commentators like Arun Lal, cough Charu Sharma join the programme to provide expert comments during the match and explain finer details on the World Cup 2011. Prior to every match, the radio station will treat its listeners with Pitch Report, Astro Prediction, Weather Report, Team Profiles, among others.

Commenting on the development, 92.7 Big FM Business Head Soumen Ghosh Choudhary stated: “We are excited to be associated with this prestigious cricketing event and this campaign sets a new benchmark for the offerings of 92.7 Big FM to its listeners. Sporting Kansas City Extends with Marquee Partner Ivy Funds

Sporting Kansas City have announced that the club’s marquee partnership with Ivy Funds has been extended through the 2022 season.

Ivy Funds became the team’s jersey sponsor and Sporting Club’s official investment management partner in January 2013.

“With the initial jersey sponsor we wanted to find a local partner,” Sporting Club CEO Robb Heineman said. “Over the course of the last two years we have realized that we had found the absolute perfect partner. MP & Silva Team Up with J Sports for EPL and Ligue 1 Rights

Japanese sports broadcaster J Sports have partnered with leading media rights agency MP & Silva, announcing deals that will see the Asian company obtain rights for soccer’s English Premier League and French Ligue 1.

J Sport will now show coverage of both major European league’s throughout Japan and have agreed a partnership with MP & Silva becoming the broadcaster’s acquisition partner for international sports content.

Betway to Sponsor Queen Mother Champion Chase at Cheltenham

Online betting and casino company Betway has agreed a three-year deal to sponsor the Queen Mother Champion Chase, one of the highlights of The Festival at Cheltenham.

The Grade One chase, run over two miles and 13 fences, was won in great style last season by Sire De Grugy, trained by Gary Moore, ridden by Jamie Moore and owned by the Preston family & friends, after 11 runners lined up in March, 2014.

Commercial cleaning franchise Jani-King International has added to its roster of PGA Tour ambassadors.

In addition to renewing agreements with Chad Campbell, Martin Flores and Ryan Palmer, Jani-King is adding Luke Guthrie, Kevin Kisner and Hudson Swafford to its roster.

Canterbury of New Zealand Becomes Official Apparel Supplier of European Rugby Champions Cup

EPCR have announced today that Canterbury of New Zealand has been selected as the Official Apparel Supplier to the inaugural European Rugby Champions Cup and European Rugby Challenge Cup tournaments.

Canterbury will supply the official kit to EPCR’s match officials for the more than 130 games in European professional club rugby tournaments which kick off on the weekend of Thursday, 16 October.

The partnership with the newly-constituted tournament organiser of European professional club rugby will run until the end of the 2016/17 season.

The new-look European Rugby Champions Cup and Challenge Cup now consist of five pools of four clubs with the five pool winners and the three best runners-up qualifying for the knockout stages.

All of the competing clubs in both tournaments have qualified for the first time on merit from their respective domestic leagues, the Aviva Premiership, the Top 14 and the Guinness PRO12, or through a play-off series.

The match officials for both competitions are drawn from an elite panel made up of the leading officials from the seven countries of the participant clubs.

Canterbury CEO, Chris Stephenson, said: “This will be the 20th season of European professional club rugby and it will provide the usual level of top-class competition. It’s fantastic that Canterbury will play a key role in both the European Rugby Champions Cup and the European Rugby Challenge Cup by providing the match officials with their kit.

LFP Agrees Betting Partnership with Sportium

The Spanish Football League (LFP), ambulance a governing body which operates La Liga and Segunda División has agreed a partnership with sports betting company Sportium.

The partnership will run for the duration of the current 2014-15 season.

As part of the agreement, Sportium will assume the role of the LFP’s official betting house and work alongside the league to promote integrity and fraud prevention.

Sportium joins beer brand Mahou, telecommunications firm Huawei and fast-food chain Burger King as a second-tier partner of the association.

Race-goers will be able to enjoy special sign-up offers andmoney back promotions on the evening races.

Arizona Coyotes Renew Westgate Entertainment District Partnership

National Hockely League (NHL) franchise Arizona Coyotes has extended its partnership with Westgate Entertainment District for the second consecutive year.

As part of the deal, the company will present fans with pre-game entertainment and activities on the Westgate Plaza prior to the Coyotes Opening Night game on Thursday, October 9 versus the Winnipeg Jets and the team’s second home game against the Los Angeles Kings on Saturday, Oct. 11.

The Westgate Events Plaza, which is located directly outside of Gila River Arena will play host to fan activations including a live 80’s cover band, Coyotes-themed inflatables, interactive fan experiences, a ball hockey rink (Thursday), a synthetic ice rink (Saturday) and Arizona Sports 98.7, 98KUPD and 100.7 KSLX will be on hand with live radio broadcasts. In addition, the Coyotes will create a Winter Wonderland outside Gila River Arena by filling the sky with a snow flurry.
