Aston Villa Sign Dafabet as Official Main Club Sponsor

Aston Villa Football Club have signed Dafabet as their Official Main Club sponsor, in a two-year agreement that will see the betting firm’s logo on the front of the Premier League team’s home and away kit.

Dafabet, an online betting website in Asia will replace Genting Casinos on the front of the shirts and will also receive a further ‘host of sponsorship benefits.’

“We’re pleased to announce our partnership with Dafabet,” said Villa Chief Executive Paul Faulkner.

“There is a real sense of excitement, anticipation and optimism as we look forward to the new season, building on the solid foundations we have in place.

“This will be a good and positive partnership for the Club and we are looking forward to working together with Dafabet as we continue to build and move the Club forward.”

Premier League expansion

The new deal sees Dafabet expand further into Premier League football, after becoming the official betting partners of Everton and Villa rivals West Bromwich Albion,

Dimitris Karatzas, Managing Director of Online Betting and Gaming at AsianBGE, added: “After entering the Premier League last season as international betting partners to two clubs, we saw the increased potential of becoming an official club sponsor.

“It’s a very significant and proud moment for us to form such a partnership with Aston Villa, a side steeped in tradition.”

Acorns support

The partnership will also see Dafabet continue the support for Acorns, a children’s hospice trust that supports around 640 children and nearly 900 families across England.

Villa have supported Acorns since 2006 when they initially provided financial donation to cover the costs of running the hospices.

Acorns CEO David Strudley described the club’s support as ‘immeasurable’ and said they were ‘extremely greatfulto both Aston Villa and Dafabet’ for their continued support.
