AS Roma Ink Intralot Sponsorship, Appoint Zanzi as New CEO

INTRALOT Italia and AS Roma have signed an agreement for the “Online Casino” category for the Football season 2012-2013.
According to the agreement, during the Italian Football Championship and the Coppa Italia, the INTRALOT brand will be displayed on the perimetric advertising boards of the Olympic Stadium field during the domestic matches of the Rome football team with one of its most important product brands “Online Casino”.
The “Online Casino” gaming proposition provides players a unique gaming experience while also offering to them the “LIVE Casino” game product. Thanks to an excellent mix of realism, graphic contents, innovative software, and multiple gaming proposals, players have the opportunity to sit at the most famous and attractive Casino gaming tables, such as Blackjack and Roulette, in a legal and safe environment.

The Italian side also announced Italo Zanzi as their new Chief Executive.
New York born Zanzi, is a sports business executive and attorney.
Recently Italo worked on behalf of the America’s Cup Event Authority overseeing media rights sales and future event planning. He also consulted on several independent sports and entertainment business projects.
Until October 2011, Italo served as Deputy General Secretary of CONCACAF, The Confederation of North, Central American and Caribbean Association Football. In this capacity, Italo oversaw the Confederation’s revenue generating activities, including the CONCACAF Champions League and Gold Cup, as well as its communications and marketing. He also represented the Confederation on FIFA’s Committee for Fair Play and Social Responsibility and Media Committee.
Zanzi said: “For me it’s a special privilege to be at the helm of a world-renowned club like AS Roma, supported by the best fans on the planet. I thank Pallotta and Pannes for their work and support. Under their guidance they’ve created a unique platform for great success in a unique and competitive era. Now it’s my responsibility to grow the base and continue building upon it. Certainly there are challenges to be faced: strong competition on the pitch, a difficult economic climate and many other things.”
