German sports retail giant Puma have become the official kit partner of Arsenal FC in a deal described as the biggest commercial deal in Puma’s and Arsenal’s history.
As well as producing the playing and training kits, Puma will create Arsenal branded merchandise in a new licensing agreement beginning July 2014.
The deal was originally reported in May 2013, with suggestions that the agreement was worth a total of £150m over five years – or £30m a year. The club could not confirm this at the official announcement at the Emirates Stadium.
