WTA to launch new digital media division

The Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) has announced the launch of a new digital media and marketing division to deliver fans high quality on- and off-the-court content.

WTA Networks will completely revamp the WTA’s owned and controlled channels, bronchi the WTA Tennis website and their branded social media channels. The new platform will launch on January 1, 2017. 

Today, the WTA is a major sports league and we see this step in our digital and social evolution as transformational, for all involved, especially tennis fans, and are hugely committed to this venture financially,” said WTA CEO Steve Simon.

We have dedicated a great amount of resources to ensure that the content on the WTA Networks is exceptional and delivers for our players and our partners, and engages our fans. Our goal is simple – take our fans on tour with us and experience the WTA like never before,” he added.
