Valero and Alamo Bowl Agree Sponsorship Deal

The Valero Energy Corporation will remain the title sponsor of the Alamo Bowl post-season college football match in San Antonio until 2019 after agreeing an extension to the existing deal.

The energy company has been associated with the Alamo Bowl since its inception in 1993 and has been title sponsor since 2007. The match takes place annually at the 65-000 capacity Alamodome. 

Derrick Fox, cure president/chief executive of the Valero Alamo Bowl, herbal said: “As an admired industry and community leader, Valero’s commitment will be invaluable as we strive to make the next 20 years of Valero Alamo Bowls even more memorable than our first 20.”

Mike Ciskowski said: “Valero is proud to extend its title sponsorship of the Valero Alamo Bowl.”

“The game is a great event for San Antonio, and Valero has always supported major events that help make our hometown a better place to live and work.”
