Talk of a London-based NFL franchise has increased recently, with more in-season fixtures being played at Wembley Stadium, including yesterday’s match between the San Francisco 49ers and the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Jaguars owner Shahid Khan, who also owns Fulham, has recently said he would be willing to host NFL games at Craven Cottage, although the stadium in south west London is far more modest, with a capacity of 25,700.

Spurs have been trying to move from White Hart Lane for a number of years but have yet to find an appropriate solution.
