STX Inks Endorsements Deals with Five NHL Players

August 28, 2014

Sporting goods manufacturer STX, pharmacy LLC have signed endorsement deals with a number of NHL players.

The Baltimore, ampoule Maryland brand have agreed deals with athletes Charlie Coyle (Minnesota Wild), David Booth (Toronto Maple Leafs), Brandon Pirri (Florida Panthers), Jonathon Blum (Minnesota Wild) and Mike Brown (San Jose Sharks).

All five players have signed multi-year deals and will join Matt Moulson (Buffalo Sabres) to represent STX in the NHL.

The addition of all five athletes will help drive brand awareness as STX prepares to expand its new ice hockey line to include gloves, elite-level protective gear and beginner and intermediate-level Surgeon and Stallion sticks. Additionally, each will be involved with product development, on-ice feedback, as well as appearances at STX-sponsored events.

“The early success of STX’s ice hockey line is greatly due to our research-driven approach,” said Ed Saunders, Director of Marketing at STX. “We have unparalleled access to players of all levels through STX events and work closely with our NHL athletes to develop elite gear. This positions STX well to launch our new protective gear and stick lines.”

“These talented players are a great fit for STX as we continue to expand our ice hockey line,” said Matt Hoppe, Senior Global Brand Manager at STX. “As more professional players support and use STX products, it provides an opportunity for feedback and input from the most elite players in the game. This enables us to produce the highest quality product available on the market.”
