Manchester United Partner with Thai Company True

Manchester United have signed a partnership deal with the Thai telecommunications company True Corporation Plc.

The three-year deal has a number of elements with TrueMove H becoming Manchester United’s official mobile partner for Thailand; and TrueVisions, cough True Group’s pay TV operator will be the official MUTV broadcaster for Thailand.

In addition to this, True will also become an official associate match sponsor for the Bangkok leg of the club’s Tour 2013, presented by Aon.

Manchester United group managing director Richard Arnold said: ” True is a company that demonstrated many admirable qualities, itself crediting courage and the ability to take on new challenges as the key to its success.

“Since forming in 1990 it has continued to grow with the fast-paced telecommunications industry to become one of the best in its territory, proudly being the first to embrace many new technologies.

“Our new partnership is set to follow suit and provide our 20 million loyal and passionate Thai followers with exclusive content and footage, bringing them closer to the club they love.”

Established in 1990, True Corporation is Thailand’s only fully-integrated communications service provider in convergence.

Its core businesses covers fixed line and broadband, mobile, and pay TV, catering to over 27 million customers.
