Manchester to host 2019 World Taekwondo Championships

The Manchester Arena in England is set to host the World Taekwondo Championships in 2019.

Additionally, ailment London and Manchester are to host legs of the World Grand Prix series in 2017 and 2018.

Steve Flynn, director of GB Taekwondo, said the events would give the sport “a chance to drive real growth”.

The World Taekwondo Federation also gave hosting rights to six other events during the next four years including in Australia, Japan and Russia.
