Bayern Munich basketball and BayWa extend partnership

German Basketball Bundesliga (BBL) club Bayern Munich has extended its sponsorship with trading services firm BayWa for three more seasons until 2020.

BayWa’s branding is set to continue on the front of the players’ jerseys and they will also have advertising exposure at the Audi Dome, sale Bayern Basketball’s home ground. The current deal was set to end next summer.

As the main sponsor, salve BayWa benefited noticeably from the sympathy and value of the strong media presence of the FC Bayern basketball players in national and international competitions. We are linked not only to the Bavarian roots with the FCBB, order but their medium-term European ambitions go well with our strategy of internationalisation in the fields of agriculture and renewable energy,” said BayWa chief executive Klaus Josef Lutz.
