Yonex Agrees Singapore National Games Sponsorship Deal

Sport apparel brand, Yonex has signed a S$2.65 million (us$ 2.1million)sponsorship agreement with the Singapore National Games (SNG) to become the inaugural event’s main sponsor and official apparel provider.

The deal includes the 2012, 2014 and 2016 Games.

Yonex will be the official supplier of equipment used for badminton during the Games and the company’s game ball brand, Mikasa, will be the official ball provider for basketball, football and netball.

Lim Teck Yin, the CEO of the event owner, Singapore Sports Council, said: “National sporting events such as SNG are great platforms for brands to showcase their promise to promoting sports, and serves as an excellent marketing tool to get their brand visibility to the whole of Singapore.”
