August 30, 2011

FIFA and it’s first Chinese sponsor, Yingli Solar are the latest speakers to join the Future Sponsorship 2011 in Amsterdam on 22-23 November.

FIFA’s Head of Marketing Alliances, Oliver Takashi and Yingli Solar’s MD, Darren Thompson will present a case study at Future Sponsorship 2011.  The Conference runs for 2 days and includes involvement from professionals representing brands and rights holders who play an active role within the sponsorship industry, within sport, media, arts and entertainment.

FIFA and Yingli Solar will discuss their partnership together, the green cause and its growth potential through partnerships. FIFA’s, Oliver Takashi and Darren Thompson at Yingli Solar, will together address general themes of increasing growth and importance of global environmental responsibilities, environmental sponsorships, innovative partnerships in aiding the growth of environment friendly initiatives and expanding sponsorships to new markets and working sectors.

For 2011, Future Sponsorship takes a more indepth look into broadening the sponsorships to new geographical markets and business industries.

Topics covered across the two day conference include innovative sponsorships in emerging markets, exploring the potential to expand the sponsorship portfolio, fan engagement, activation strategies, building apt partnerships, CSR and governance in sport among others. The conference will also include dedicated breakout streams on niche subjects pertaining to sponsorships in sports, education, music, arts and entertainment.

FIFA and Yingli will be joined by senior representatives from Mastercard, Diageo Western Europe, Universal Music Group, EMI Music, Ranstad Deutschland, World Archery, HSBC, Heineken, The FA, NBA, Cirque du Soleil, Geo Mission, ING, Ladies European Tour, British Olympic Association, O2, IMG, Deloitte, AISTS, Coca Cola and SEAT.
