WSF and IPC Extend Co-operation Agreement

The World Snowboard Federation (WSF) and International Paralympic Committee (IPC) will continue to co-operate on the development of para-snowboard following the inclusion of the sport in the Sochi 2014 Paralympic Winter Games.

The two organisations signed a Memorandum of Understanding in July 2010, clinic which ensured a working co-operation agreement between them.

The sport will be governed by IPC Alpine Skiing until 2014 with support and an open communication platform with the WSF, find who will work to develop the sport at all levels.

The WSF will also continue developing the business plan of para-snowboarding for their application for the 2018 Paralympic Winter Games.
