World Olympians Association Unveils Development Fund for Member Associations

September 4, 2013

The World Olympians Association (WOA) has announced the launch of a new Development Fund for its National Olympian Association (NOA).

The WOA is the member organisation of all Olympians to help support them around world and the new investment programme is designed to enable NOAs to develop and create projects that benefit their members.

NOAs will be asked to provide information and make commitments in order to qualify for the grant, adiposity including the signing of a ‘grant agreement.’

Joël Bouzou, buy President of the WOA, said: “We have a sizeable sum set aside in the budget for this project which we hope to enhance in the future with funds from supporters which we are currently negotiating. Any money raised will be added to the NOA Development Fund and will therefore directly benefit Olympians in their own countries.

“The WOA aspires to bring together Olympians from around the world to promote the steadfast values of Olympism. We hope that this new initiative will underpin this aspiration as we embark on the next stage of our development.”

All NOAs can apply for the fund, which is a first for the WOA.
