Wolves Sign Whathouse.co.uk as Main Sponsor
April 10, 2013
Championship football club Wolverhampton Wanderers have agreed a potential seven figure, order two-year, recipe main sponsorship agreement with whathouse.co.uk.
What House will see their brand appear on the home and away first team shirts and on all technical training kits.
The company will also change their brand from red to black to better compliment the orange of Wolves’ shirts.
Jez Moxey, Chief Executive, Wolves, said: “We’re delighted that What House? have decided to become our main sponsor, after a year supporting the Club as the sponsor of the back of the first team shirts.
“This is an important commercial agreement for the Club and a great, tangible endorsement for the way we deliver value for our portfolio of sponsors.”
Rupert Bates, editorial director of whathouse.co.uk. added: “After an excellent working relationship in our first season with Wolves, significant commercial results and increased brand awareness, when the opportunity arose to move from the back of the shirt to the front as the main club sponsor and partner we jumped at it.
“Results on the pitch have of course been disappointing. But Wolverhampton Wanderers is a big club, with loyal and passionate support. Wolves, with its iconic old gold and black colours, has a rich and evocative history and the club will bounce back.
“We are totally committed to helping Wolves return to where they belong among the elite of English football and at the same time using the partnership to promote our brand and help new home buyers across the UK.”
