2015 Highlights

Directors’ Club

iSportconnect staged a record eight Directors’ Club events in 2015, with debuts in Moscow and Mexico City.

The event also returned to Paris and Dubai, with three editions in London.

Masterclass

iSportconnect staged five Masterclass events in 2015, including a first ever Media and Communications Masterclass and Sports Performance Masterclass.

The Digital Media and Technology was again held successfully in Lausanne this year along with a bumper edition in London, with a total of 14 panellists across four panels.

The Stadia Masterclass also made a return, in partnership with Populous, with a classy event at Lord’s, The Home of Cricket.

The Masterclass events welcomed delegates from major sports governing bodies, federations, clubs/teams and brands, such as; AC Milan, Arsenal FC, ATP, BBC Sports, Chelsea FC, City Football Group, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), EY, ESPN, European Tour, FC Barcelona, IMG, Juventus, Liverpool FC, Manchester United FC, MP & Silva, NBA, NFL, Premier League, RFU, Rio 2016, Sky Sports, The FA, Tottenham Hotspur FC, UEFA, UFC, WADA, World Rugby, WPP, WTA and many more.

iSportconnect TV

The quality of content on iSportconnect TV certainly went to a new level in 2015 with new shows, features and BIG Interviews with key names in the sport business industry.

Once again iSportconnect TV was there to cover major sports business events such as the Soccerex Global Convention in Manchester, Sportel Monaco and Rugby Expo.

Some of the BIG Interviews on the platform this year included IAAF president Seb Coe, World Rugby CEO Brett Gosper, Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish and more.

With the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil getting closer, iSportconnect TV kept you up to date on all developments in the lead up the showpiece, with a new weekly Road to Rio 2016 Show, which will continue right up until the Games begin on 5th August.

Sticking with the Olympic theme, iSportconnect TV this year also featured the World & Olympic Sports Update show with our international and Olympic sports editor Michael Pirrie. The show included influential figures such as Former London 2012 Olympic Games Minister, Sir Hugh Robertson, Around the Rings founder Ed Hula and Steve Wilson, Chief Olympic Correspondent/ European Sports Editor at AP.

What 2016 has to offer

iSportconnect events will continue to expand and reach even more territories in 2016, with major plans already in place for more events than ever before.
