Western Sydney Wanderers Speed Off with Mitsubishi

Australian A-League team Western Sydney Wanderers FC have revealed a multi-year partnership with global giant Mitsubishi Electric for the 2013-2014 season. 

As part of the deal the multi-national Mitsubishi Electric brand will feature prominently on the back of the Wanderers’ playing jersey and become an integral part of the club’s corporate family, the club said.

This partnership continues Mitsubishi Electric’s already strong commitment to the western Sydney region after its recent installation of a new state of the art LED screen at Parramatta Stadium, home ground of the Wanderers.

“It is this commitment to the western Sydney region together with the alignment of its major focus on high quality, performance, dependability, enhancing quality of life and commitment to making a difference to the community at large that were major factors in bringing Mitsubishi Electric and the Wanderers together,” Wanderers executive chairman Lyall Gorman said.

Mitsubishi Electric Australia managing director Takeshi Shihonmatsu said: “We are thrilled to be partnering Western Sydney Wanderers and this builds on our existing support for their terrific home ground Parramatta Stadium. We wish the Wanderers every success in the forthcoming 2013-2014 season and hope that they manage to go even one better in the grand final this time around.”
