A-League champions Western Sydney Wanderers have agreed a new partnership with the non-profit organisation Whitelion, which aims to help troubled young people.
The two organisations have united as part of Whitelion’s ‘Wander-Act’ scheme and will jointly host an event to raise awareness of the non-profit organisation.
Anna Jenko, Whitelion state manager, said: “The support the Wanderers are giving us is real and will greatly help our ability to help get the youths we support to achieve their goals of moving productively forward with their lives. It is great to work with an organisation that truly cares.”
Wanderers’ community manager Tim Thorne added: “Our mandate as a club is to make a difference in the Western Sydney community and this is our first step to making this happen.
“Whitelion are a great organisation doing wonderful things and we are proud to support them.”
