Weigel Broadcasting to Show Local Sport with Chicago Sky

Women’s National Basketball Association (WNBA) franchise the Chicago Sky have signed a five-year deal with Weigel Broadcasting Co.

The Chicago-based firm will air 24 regular season games on the local channels WCIA and The U Too, starting on the May 31.

WCIU (The U) will broadcast the against the Tulsa Shock and the July 7 game against New York, according to the team’s website.

The U Too station will air the remaining 22 home and away games.

The WNBA recently agreed an extension with ESPN to extend their broadcast deal through to 2022.
