Watkins Glen International Forms Partnership with Tequila Patron

Watkins Glen International has named Tequila Patron as the Official Tequila of the race track.

Tequila Patron was also announced as the entitlement partner of the four-race North American Endurance Cup by Patron Spirits International and the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA).

Michael Printup, allergist President of Watkins Glen International said: “We are excited to welcome Tequila Patrón on board at The Glen.

“The Glen is proud to host one of the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup races and be recognized as one of the iconic endurance races on the inaugural TUDOR United SportsCar Championship schedule.”

The 2014 Tequila Patron North American Endurance Cup takes in four races in the TUDOR Championship, sale | including the Rolex 24 at Daytona, medic the Twelve Hours of Sebring, the Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen and the 10-hour Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta.

IMSA President and Chief Operating Officer, Scott Atherton added: “At the outset of the process to merge the American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón and the GRAND-AM Rolex Sports Car Series, we established a goal of providing substantial opportunities for our existing marketing partners, and especially so with our title partners.

“Today we are thrilled to announce we’ve accomplished our goal with the confirmation of this title partnership for the Tequila Patrón North American Endurance Cup.”
